What is the meeting schedule?
Meetings occur monthly. They alternate between the third Tuesday and the third Friday of the month, from 8:30-10:00 AM unless otherwise specified. Meetings are held on ZOOM and we often offer hybrid options for those who would like to be in person.
CEUs are provided by the BOSW for Social Workers. Certificates of Attendance for documenting CEUs are available to members belonging to other licensing boards after meetings with speakers and panelists. Minutes are available on the “Resources & Meeting Minutes” tab for folks who are not able to attend.
Meeting content tends to alternate between speakers with extensive experience working with Latinx clients who focus on specific clinical questions or practice areas, and more fluid resource sharing, networking, and strategizing.
How can I join meetings?
If you have already joined the El Consorcio mailing list, or if you are a member, you will receive monthly meeting reminders by email.
Additionally, we will always have the link on the home page, under the "Training Offerings" tittle. In this section, you'll be able to find info about our recent past trainings and upcoming plans.
What are the benefits of a paid membership? How is it different from the mailing list?
Paid memberships include access to monthly trainings, CEUs, meeting minutes, access to past training materials (watch recorded trainings at your convenience), and opportunities to consult and share resources with other members. Membership helps support the continued work of El Consorcio.
Those who have subscribed to the mailing list will receive monthly meeting reminders and occasional emails about El Consorcio activities.
How do I become a presenter?
Email El Consorcio with the following items:

Hybrid event/in person/ virtual
If it's approved someone from the board will reach out to confirm the plan. Reminder that some events are planned 3 months in advance and your preferred date might not be avaiable.
